"Moonlight Serenade" is a classic swing jazz song written by Glenn Miller in 1935. It was first performed by his orchestra, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, during World War II. It was hugely popular among American soldiers, and even after the war it has remained popular in jazz and pop music standard repertoires. Its romantic melody and swinging arrangements are considered a sound that symbolizes the good old days of America. It can be said that many Americans have a longing for this era, and this led to the reelection of President Trump, who ran on the slogan "Make America Great Again."
*Model sheet music has been written for the improvisational interlude in the middle, but if it is difficult to perform, it can also be played as a piano solo without playing the parts.
