Brahms was born in Hamburg in 1833 and is a representative of German music called the three major German Bs.
From his later piano pieces, Op. 116 to Op. 119, is a masterpiece that can be said to be the culmination of Brahms. The composition technique has become more sophisticated and elaborate, and while inspiring, it is a work that makes you feel loneliness and resignation in your later years.
Op. 118, "Six Pieces for Piano," was completed in 1893 and is the wife and prestigious pianist of Brahms' late teacher, composer Schumann.Dedicated to Clara Schumann.
The second intermezzo (interlude) is not an interlude of any work, but is attached to a small piece composed by free thinking at that time, and it is still popular and is often played alone. It is a masterpiece.
A gentle and melancholy tune that reminds me of my youthful self remains deep in my heart, and various harmony progressions appear so that the tune of the same motif can be confirmed many times. The melody, which has moved from minor to melancholic to major, is full of affection and reminds us of a scene from a drama.
