Borodin was born in 1833 in St. Petersburg, Russia. While practicing the piano, he was also an excellent student and entered the medical school of St. Petersburg University. .. At the age of 24, he met Mussorgsky on a long business trip to Europe to attend a medical conference, became interested in Schumann's songs, and in 1863 met the composer Mily Balakirev to formally study composition. I did. In 1869, he started the opera "Prince Igor", and "Polovtsian Dances" is a representative work of Borodin, which is still performed alone. The opera "Prince Igor" could not be completed during his lifetime due to Borodin's sudden death in 1887, and was revised and revised by Rimsky-Korsakov and Glazunov after his death.
