The thirteenth song "Swan" of the suite "The Honorarium of Animals", composed in 1886 for a chamber composition consisting of 14 songs in all, is a familiar classic of the classsik. "The Carnival of Animals" was based on the satirical use of music by other composers as a parody at the time, and on the basis of how it was composed for private performance purposes. Saint-Saëns forbade publication and performance until his death himself. Only "Swan", a pure original though, had been published during his lifetime. It is originally played by cello and piano, but it is arranged for other instrumental music with strings in the back. You will be taken away by that beautiful melody.
* Accompaniment sound source data includes both the sound source with strings and the sound source with only piano.
*The original song is in G major, but the clarinet, alto sax, tenor sax, trumpet, trombone, and euphonium have been transposed to C major due to the range of the instruments.
