Mozart has composed the horn concerto up to number four, although studies in recent years have suggested that it was composed in the order of number two, number four, number three and number one instead of number. In terms of range, it has been studied that the high range is used in number 2 and number 4, but the high range is not used as the other number 3 and number 1, resulting in a simple tendency to play. It is pointed out that it was because Mozart composed for his friend and horn virtuoso Joseph Leudgep, and took care of his age-induced decline in technique. The fourth was composed in June 1786, and the three movements are sometimes referred to as the "Finale of the Hunt", as their light-accompanied rhythms are reminiscent of the scenes of the hunt running on horseback.
* The original song is in E-flat major, but it is arranged in C-major, and the accompaniment of clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, and trumpet is arranged in B-flat major.
