Johann Strauss II was born in 1825 and is a great composer known by the nickname of "King Waltz" who was active mainly in Vienna, Austria. The "Beautiful Blue Danube" is always performed at the encore of the New Year's Concert, which boasts a history of more than 60 years. This song was dedicated in 1867 as a male four-part chorus at the request of the Wiener Schubertbund Association to make a special chorus for the association. The people of the Austrian Empire were all depressed at the time when the Austro-Prussian War broke out in 1866 the year before and lost the battle with the Kingdom of Prussia in just seven weeks. Weil wrote the lyrics and added them to the song, which was a funny lyrics that shook off such a social situation and called for it to be forgotten.
