Schubert “Nacht und Träume” (Night and Dreams)

Franz Schubert’s song Nacht und Träume (“Night and Dreams”) is one of his most beloved songs, setting a poem by the German poet Matthias von Collin.
“Just as moonlight fills the room, dreams gently flow into the quiet hearts of people. And when morning comes, they wish: ‘May that beautiful night and those dreams return once again.’”
