Amy Beach, born in 1867, is the first successful female composer in the United States. At the age of 16, he made his debut as a pianist, but at the age of 18, he married the surgeon Henry Beach, and in part because of Mr. Beach's wishes, he stopped the pianist's activity as a composer in priority. "Romance" is a song written in 1893 for violin and piano. At the time, Maud Powell, a female violinist of her age who was active in the United States, was presented with a musical score for the song, and Powell performed the song at the Women's Musical Congress, which she attended. If Beach composed a violin song, it would seem that he would have sent Powell in the manuscript stage before it was published, or had a deep exchange of recognition with each other.
"Romance", though orthodox, is a well-known song that aggregates plenty of charm within about six minutes, thanks to the beauty of the leisurely introductory melody and the dramatic composition of the song, which rises with the change of tempo. You will feel an uplifting feeling to play.
* The original song is in A major but arranged in F major.
